1980: Construction of the bed and breakfast Latschenhof with 20 beds by                    Johann and Teresia Lürzer together with their son Bernhard.
1987: Takeover of the Latschenhof by Bernhard and Helga Lürzer and                          construction of the private house in Radstadt. Extension of the                           Latschenhof to 33 beds, all equiped with telephone, shower and                         separate WC.

1988: Extension from bed and breafrast to three-star-category with 55 beds.
1992: Construction of the wellness area including sauna and purchase of the            neighouring property.
1995: Mayor extension of the Latschenhof to four-star-category with 100 beds.
1997: Purchase of the Berghotel Pohl at the Grünwaldkopfbahn.
1998:Modification of the Berghotel Pohl, refurbishment of the rooms,                             construction of an elevator as well as the restaurant and terrace.
1998: Purchase of staff quarters.
1999: Purchase of the hotel with breakfast only Gamsspitzl. Construction of                   the apès-ski bar Hasnstall.
2000: Buyback of the first appartment and erection of the wellness area in the            Gamsspitzl.
2001: Buyback and refurbishment of the second appartment in the Gamsspitzl.            Annex of a non-smoking Latschenhof's restaurant.
2002: Construction of a skiing equipment storage ang garage at the                             Latschenhof. Purchase of the property at the federal highway B99.
2003: Major extension of the Berghotel Pohl with 100 beds and renaming to                 "Alpenhotel*** Tauernkönig" with a two-storey restaurant, huge terrace            and underground parking.
2004: For the first time the Alpenhotel Tauernkönig is also open in summer.                   Refurbishment of the sauna area. Purchase and refurbishment of                       another appartment in the Gamsspitzl.
2006: Constuction of a staff garage at the Latschenhof. Refurbishment of the              sauna area in the Tauernkönig and reconstruction of six appartments in              the Gamsspitzl.
2007: New marketing concept including a new mayor logo for the " Lürzer                    Alpen Resorts", numerous events, new website, etc.!
          Numerous refurbishments in all hotels and restaurants.
          Reconstruction of two appartments in the Gamsspitzl.
2007 in summer: The summer season 2007 started with 23 June and ended             with 27 October. Our hotels Tauernkönig and Gamsspitzl as well as our à             la carte restaurant "Die Königsalm" with its wonderful garden were open            for our guests. We realized 14.000 obernight stays - almost incredible for          a resort of this size.
2008: For the first time event we conducted a mayor event during a dentist                 congress taking place in April. Rebuy of the last appartment in the                      Gamsspitzl. Refurbishment of 14 rooms in the Latschenhof.
2008 in summer: The summer season 2008 ran from 7 June until 25 October.              Our hotels Tauernkönig with its à la carte restaurant and our Gamsspitzl             were open for our guests. We were able to increas the overnight stays              to 18.500.
2009: A tragic stoke of fate shook our family, numerous regular guests and the           staff our our enterprise. On 10 our beloved wife, mother and hostess                  Helga Lürzer passed away. Without her, the rapid expansion of our hotels           to the biggest holiday resort in Obertauern would have been impossible.           We miss her dearly!
2009 in summer: Our hotels and restaurants Tauernkönig, Gamsspitzl und                 Königsalm opened from 13 June to 24 October. Our restaurants remained           open throughout the year. Since August the Lürzer Alpen Resorts are a               registered brand! Construcion of a radio-rely systemb between our                     hotels (4 sites) for our administrative department.
2009/2010: The LÜRZER ALPEN RESORTS are being expanded by the newly                constructed appartment residence BERGRESIDENZ and are among the               largest family owned businesses in Obertauern. Furthermore the                        marketing concept was optimized and a new website as well as                         numerous merchandising articles and events were established.
2010 in summer: Our hotels and restaurants Tauernkönig, Gamsspitzl,                       Bergresidenz and Königsalm were open from 29 May to 31 October. The             overnight stayr reached the benchmark of 22.000.
2010/2011: Our enterprise is expanded by a pub, the former Nanu. Under the           name "smallTALK" this bar is now part of the Lürzer Alpen Resorts.
          Also a delivery service has been established and can be accessed                      through www.bon-aparte.com.
2010 in summer: During a successful summer season from May to October we           realized at total of 29.000 overnight stays.
2011/2012: We expand our lease houses by the Hotel-Garni*** Laaxerhof and are now the biggest hotelier in Obertauern with 400 beds.
